This spring, the HIV Center has undertaken a
range of activities expanding our historic
commitment to engaging the HIV/AIDS epidemic in
Africa, including South Africa, Egypt, Tanzania, Tunisia, and
Nigeria.
In May, the HIV Center co-sponsored an unprecedented
conference in South Africa to examine HIV risk
among the understudied population of individuals
in Africa who practice same-sex sexuality. |
HIV Center investigators have recently published
policy commentaries in major journals on cutting edge issues in HIV
prevention, including male circumcision and the
impact of gender, economics, and migration.
