Aimee Campbell, PhD, is a Professor of Clinical Psychiatric Social Work in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and a Research Scientist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, Division on Substance Use Disorders. Dr. Campbell's research focuses on the development and testing of individual and program level interventions for substance use disorders and other co-occurring health and mental health disorders, including the leveraging of technology-based platforms, with the objective of increasing adoption and implementation of evidence-based treatments. Her experience includes both clinical effectiveness and implementation research studies and extensive delivery of implementation technical assistance, especially the integration of treatments for opioid use disorder in healthcare settings. She completed undergraduate training in sociology at the University of Washington and received her master's degree and doctorate from Columbia University School of Social Work.
