Alex Carballo-Diéguez,
Ph.D., is Associate Director of the HIV Center
for Clinical and Behavioral Studies and
a Professor of Clinical Psychology
(in Psychiatry) at Columbia University.
His areas of research comprise sexual risk
behavior of men who have sex with men --especially
those of Latin American ancestry--, primary
prevention in couples of mixed HIV serostatus,
partner notification of exposure to HIV,
and microbicide acceptability. Dr. Carballo-Diéguez
serves as a consultant and grant reviewer
to NIMH, NIDA, CDC, and UARP. He is a member
of the editorial board of AIDS and Behavior. |
