Curtis Dolezal, Ph.D., is a
Research Scientist at the HIV Center for
Clinical and Behavioral Studies at New York
State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia
University. He is a co investigator and data
analyst for several projects at the HIV Center
and has documented and manages several data
sets covering the entire history of the Center.
His research interests have included sensation
seeking,
drug and alcohol use, couple relationship
quality, childhood sexual experiences,
psychoendocrinology, and sexual risk behavior.
He has also focused on methodological issues
such as the reliability of adherence reports
from HIV positive children and their
caregivers, self reported honesty in sex
interviews, and the use of computer assisted
instruments to assess sexual behavior in
adolescents.
