Eric Houston is a postdoctoral research fellow at the HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed his APA-approved predoctoral internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center.

 

Dr. Houston’s research interests focus on HIV risk behaviors among individuals dually-diagnosed with psychiatric and substance use disorders. He is also interested in medication adherence and adaptation among dually-diagnosed persons living with HIV/AIDS.
