Ezer Kang, PhD, Assistant Clinical Professor in
Medical Psychology (Psychiatry) in Pediatric
Psychiatry at Columbia University, holds a
joint appointment at New York Presbyterian
Hospital and Harlem Hospital Center, Department
of Pediatrics as a staff psychologist working
with children, adolescents living with
perinatal HIV-infection. As a Research
Scientist at the HIV Center for Clinical and
Behavioral Studies, Dr. Kang has pursued his
research in access to care disparities, stigma,
and medical treatment adherence among
HIV-seropositive Asians and Pacific Islanders
(A&PI), and women of color. Other clinical
research interests included environmental
correlates of neuropsychological functioning
and development among adolescents with
