Public Service Announcements

These public service announcements, targeted to adolescents and young adults, can be used as discussion starters or (with written permission) as AIDS awareness spots on your local TV station.

AIDS, I'M NOT HAVIN' IT, originally aired on MTV, targets adolescent women. Rap artists M.C. Lyte and Positive K, singing their hit single, encourage young women to tell their partners "I'm Not Havin' It."

I'M SORRY depicts a young man speaking about the consequences of unprotected sex. Not until the last seconds of the video, when he says "You and me have AIDS" is the viewer startled to discover who the young man is talking to.

THINK portrays a young woman's realization that she is at risk for HIV because she listened to her partner's smooth talk and did not let him know she wanted to use protection. She tells other young women not to let "a line" make them stop thinking.
