Public Health Practice and policy Core

The Public Health Practice and Policy core has the following three goals:

  1. Advancing implementation science and research by intensely involving end users in our research agenda and maximizing the translation of research findings and evidence-based interventions to real-world practice, policy initiatives, and delivery systems.

  2. Assuring timely responsiveness of HIV Center research to the major trends, drivers, and policy and practice policy priorities of the local domestic and global HIV epidemics.

  3. Providing expertise in addressing the ethical challenges (e.g., human rights, distributive justice, and research ethics) inherent in scientific efforts that break new ground in real-world settings.
