Public Health Practice and policy Core
The Public Health Practice and Policy core has the following three goals:
- Advancing implementation science and research by intensely involving end users in our research agenda and maximizing the translation of research findings and evidence-based interventions to real-world practice, policy initiatives, and delivery systems.
- Assuring timely responsiveness of HIV Center research to the major trends, drivers, and policy and practice policy priorities of the local domestic and global HIV epidemics.
- Providing expertise in addressing the ethical challenges (e.g., human rights, distributive justice, and research ethics) inherent in scientific efforts that break new ground in real-world settings.
