Dr. Peter Gordon is a clinician with over 25 years of experience caring for persons living with HIV (PLWH), a co-investigator in the Columbia Collaborative HIV/AIDS Clinical Trials Unit, and the medical director for the Comprehensive Health Program (CHP), a designated HIV/AIDS Center of Excellence caring for over 2400 PLWH at New York Presbyterian - Columbia University Medical Center. He has ongoing projects in medical informatics, clinical service delivery systems, quality of clinical care, and HIV therapeutics. He also serves as the Chair of the New York State AIDS Institute (NYSDOH AI) Quality of Care Advisory Committee and as a member of the NYSDOH AI Medical Care Criteria Committee which helps formulate NYS guidelines in HIV clinical and preventive care.

Currently, he advises Center investigators on the use of large datasets, in particular institutionally based medical records, to inform their research as well as other eHealth modalities.
