Hector EmerencianoHector is a dedicated Research Associate for the HIV Center, with a particular interest in the challenges faced by those born HIV-positive transitioning to adulthood. Previously serving as a Research Associate for CASAH and Howard University’s Global Community Health Lab, Hector consulted on research, co-authored academic articles, and presented at the 30th Annual John P. Johnson Memorial Lecture at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Division of Community Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine.Alongside his research endeavors, Hector has a creative background in producing music and developing media content.
