Mary Irvine, DrPHMember, Health Equity CoreEmail: mirvine@health.nyc.govDr. Irvine directs the New York City (NYC) Health Department’s HIV Care and Treatment Research and Evaluation Unit, which covers evaluation and reporting for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A, HOPWA, and Ending the HIV Epidemic programs, as well as data systems design and intervention research projects. For over 17 years, she has led the evaluation of federally funded programs addressing the health and social service needs of low-income people living with HIV. Her research focuses on leveraging data across different sources to inform public health policy and practice, while contributing to the dissemination of effective strategies for improving population health and advancing health equity. Since 2014, Dr. Irvine has served as the government-based PI for four intervention research collaborations with the City University of New York (CUNY) Institute for Implementation Science in Population Health (ISPH): R01 MH101028 (CHORDS), R01 MH117793 (PROMISE), R01 MH125735 (D2S), and R34 MH126809 (APPLI).
